Truth rating: 10

Jack Osbourne was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, he reveals in a new interview.

The new dad, who welcomed daughter Pearl with fiance Lisa Stelly in April, received the shocking news just two weeks after her birth.

“I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, ‘Why now?’” Jack says of learning he has the neurological disorder.

He adds to People, “I’ve got a family and that’s what’s supposed to be the most important thing.”

As Osbourne adjusts to living with the disease, his sister Kelly has taken to Twitter to ask for well-wishes.

“Please support my brother @mrjacko in not only his bravery but honesty!” she writes, adding, “i love you so much jack & I’m so proud of you!”

I’m so sorry to hear this news. This young man had really turned his life around. He’s young and let’s hope and pray there is a cure for him and others in his lifetime.

That’s what is so horrible about this disease it normally strikes in such a young age group. Lets hope the type he has is slow in developing. He could turn this into something positive and help get the word out about this disease. Michael J Fox, has done wonders for Parkinsons, I’m sure Jack Osbourne could do the same with MS.

How can something like this happen to a guy like that, after tuning his life around.

I’m 32 and had it since I was 15. It’s not a death sentence, but it’s a very tough road. With the right doctors and medication he can still live a fairly normal life. He needs to find his limitations and learn to not over step them. It affects everyone differently, but hopefully they caught it still in the relapsing-remitting stage. Now we have someone new in our “family.” Praying for the best for him!

Unfortunately, MS strikes mostly young people. It is not a death sentence and will take a lot of effort on his part, but there are such things as remissions, and he is young….so should live for a long time. Good luck, Jack….and hang in there! After turning your life around, fighting this should be easier.
