Jack Antonoff Offers To Produce New Music For Kesha And “Leak It”
Jack Antonoff is the latest celebrity to support Kesha after a judge denied her motion to be released from her recording contract with Dr. Luke, a music producer who she says sexually assaulted her. On Monday, Antonoff offered to produce new music for Kesha and then “leak it for everyone.”
As a result of the judge’s ruling, Kesha will not be free to make new music with any company other than Dr. Luke’s label at Sony, despite her insistence that she’s been physically and sexually abused by the producer. But Antonoff, a singer-songwriter and music producer, earlier tweeted, “hey @kesharose — don’t know what the legal specifics are, but if you want to make something together & then leak it for everyone I’m around… or just make something and wait on it till that creep can’t block you anymore. standing offer.”
As Gossip Cop reported, Taylor Swift donated $250,000 to Kesha on Sunday to help out with the singer’s financial needs stemming from her predicament. It should also be noted, Antonoff happened to have produced Taylor Swift’s Grammy-winning album 1989. Additional celebrities to have voiced their support for Kesha include Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, and many more.
