There’s been lot of misinformation recently about Jessica Simpson and her love life. Some reports have her turning to online dating to find a new man. Not true.

And now comes a story from OK! magazine — known for putting words in other people’s mouth (See “Twilight” story below) — that Simpson is begging: “Help Me Find a Man!” 

According to OK!, “Jessica Simpson is turning to brother-in-law Pete Wentz to jump-start her dating life.” Not surprisingly, the mag even has one of its ever-ready unnamed sources saying that she’s hoping her sister Ashlee’s husband “will hook her up with one of his hot, single friends.” 

Uh, no she’s not. Her rep tells Gossip Cop that rumors of online dating and Wentz wrangling “aren’t true.’
