Is a Star Story About Kristen Bell an Eggs-aggeration?

According to a Star magazine source, about two weeks ago “Veronica Mars” star Kristen Bell was “boiling some eggs and fell asleep on the couch.” The eggs supposedly burned and set off a smoke detector.
The weekly goes on to report that the “Gossip Girl” slept through the loud alarm for 20 minutes until concerned neighbors knocked on her door and woke her.
We’re told Bell has said it never happened, and her rep tells Gossip Cop the story is a “complete fabrication.”
This seemingly plausible story, however, is alarmingly false.
Looks like Star has egg on its face.
