Iggy Azalea will be showing off her skills on Thursday’s “Lip Sync Battle” when she performs Silk’s R&B song “Freak Me.” In a new clip for the upcoming episode, the Australian rapper is gyrating and dancing on the floor as she pretends to sing the words to the 1992 hit, while at another point, Azalea is humping the stage as host LL Cool J laughs. On Thursday’s show, Azeala will do battle against her fiance Nick Young. It’s unclear what song he has lined up to compete against her rendition of “Freak Me.”
“Lip Sync Battle” was created as a spin-off of Jimmy Fallon’s “Lip Synch Challenge,” which he plays with celebrity guests on the “Tonight Show.” On the Spike version, two celebrities battle each other in two different rounds to see who is better at fake-singing. The audience determines the winner, and the celebrity is then given a trophy belt as a prize.
As Gossip Cop reported, Justin Bieber recently competed on the show against Deion Sanders. The pop star performed Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and then wore a long black wig while lip-syncing Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train.” In the end, however, Sanders who won.
