Ice Age 4: Continental Drift Freezes Out Spider-Man and Ted For Weekend Win

BOX OFFICEIce Age 4: Continental Drift, the latest installment in the hugely successful animated franchise, won its debut weekend at the box office.
The toon took in $46 million, good enough to top The Amazing Spider-Man, which earned second place with $35 million.
Ted nabbed third with $22.1 million.
Pixar’s Brave and male stripper saga Magic Mike came in fourth and fifth with $10.7 million and $9 million, respectively.
Rounding out the weekend’s Top 10 were Oliver Stone’s drug trade epic Savages ($8.7 million), Madea’s Witness Protection ($5.6 million), Katy Perry: Part of Me ($3.8 million), and Moonrise Kingdom ($3.7 million), and Madagascar 3 ($3.5 million).
