And the THG fans said it would be better than twilight AND harry potter hmmm…

I’m not going to judge the movie based off a clip that’s not even a minute long and hardly shows anything. From what’s shown in it, I don’t think that’s really enough to determine if it sucks. It’s just a short sneak peak. I’m going to wait for an actual trailer that will be much longer and show much more of everything, not just Katniss running through a forest and shooting an arrow, or better yet, I’ll see the movie for myself.

I’m halfway through the second one right now. I’m not third if the name for the third one has been released but its slated for release in 2010.

I have a bad feeling about this movie. As much as I like Jennifer Lawrence I can already picture the tween like adaptation with quick camera cuts, very little bloodshed and the focus on the romantic parts of the book. In other words, the book will be watered down big time. While reading I pictured a mix between Cast Away and something more violent.

Not a very good trailer. The books were just so-so, but this trailer does not even bring the movie up to the so-so level. Jennifer just was not a good fit for the role of Katniss. I know why the studio cast her since she was the “IT GIRL” at that moment, but she is to old and to tall for the role.

I loved it. It’s just a teaser. They are still filming so I didn’t expect much. Glad we have something this early.

    go screw yourself

Why not just hold off until you’re actually finish filming the movie Lionsgate, and then put out a decent trailer? You know why? Because they wanted to take advantage that Summit did not submit a trailer at the VMAs this year so they wanted to jump in and put something out there. Was it worth it? Nope. I wasn’t impressed.

Too bad the trailer is so short. The books are good and I think that Jennifer Lawrence is a great fit. She has an edge that will work well for Katniss. Watch Winters Bone to see an amazing performance from her.
