Hulk Hogan is in the middle of an N-word controversy after he was reported to have gone on a racist rant in unreleased footage from his infamous sex tape. In light of the reports, audio of a 2012 radio interview on DJ Whoo Kid’s Sirius XM Shade 45 show “Whoolywood Shuffle,” in which Hogan uses the n-word repeatedly, has surfaced. In the audio, which was posted online Friday morning, the WWE star casually says the n-word throughout the entire conversation. Listen below.

In the clip, DJ Whoo mentions how Hogan is known for calling everyone “brother.” The two then start to talk about the time fellow wrestler Booker T infamously called Hogan a “n*gger” on live TV. “Well, Booker T used to do that to me, and every time I pull up YouTube there’s that famous thing with Booker T and his brother is there and they’re all talking trash, and Booker T says, ‘I’m coming for ya Hogan, you n*gger’– and not ‘n*gga,’ he goes ‘n*gger,'” says Hogan.

The wrestler then mentions how when he used to live in Miami, and a lot of his rapper friends would always call him the n-word. He goes on, “And it’s still so cool, because the whole time I was down in Miami when I lived there, you know, everybody — I’d walk into the [DJ] booth and all of a sudden I’d bump into this guy and The Game’s in the booth, it’s all black and he’s got his BlackBerry, and I bump into him and he goes, ‘What’s up, n*gga?’ and I said, ‘Oh, excuse me, bro!’ And he says, ‘No, it’s all cool.'”

Hogan then notes that since people were always saying the word to him, he felt it was okay he started to use it himself. “And everybody down there — Lil Wayne, Birdman — they’re all calling me ‘n*gga,’ and then I started sayin’ it,” explains Hogan. “And I always said it, but now all of a sudden I get heat when I say it, and they say, ‘Hogan, you can’t say that,’ so I say, ‘Why can they say it to me then?’”

As Gossip Cop reported, references to Hogan were completely removed from the WWE’s website Thursday night, and on Friday, the WWE announced it was terminating is contract. The issue, however, is not believed to be over the 2012 radio interview, but a second tape of Hogan using the N-word during a fight over his daughter Brooke allegedly being involved with a “black guy’s son.”

“I guess we’re all a little racist,” the star is reportedly heard saying. At another point, Hogan allegedly says, “I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f*cking n*ggers. But then when it comes to nice people and sh*t, and whatever.” He supposedly goes on, “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*ck some n*gger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n*gger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player.”

The purported quotes are said to be from Hogan’s infamous sex tape with Heather Clem, wife of his former friend Bubba The Love Sponge. Hogan is currently in a lawsuit with Gawker over the outlet posing a clip of the footage, and transcripts of the N-word portion are reportedly in legal documents relating to the case.

Shortly after the SiriusXM interview was posted online, DJ Whoo Kid took to Twitter to defend Hogan, writing, “Nothing racist about that @HulkHogan 2012 interview I did. He was just explaining the usage of the Nword amongst his rapper friends and WWF.” He added in another tweet, “To me @HulkHogan is the coolest and will always be the reason why I watched professional wrestling #legend.” Listen to Hogan’s radio interview below where he says the n-word, and tell us what you think.
