Howard Stern: NBC Threatened Me After I Called Jay Leno a “Spineless Maggot”

Howard Stern got a stern talking-to from NBC after he bashed Jay Leno as a “spineless maggot” on his radio show last week — but the self-proclaimed King of All Media was characteristically unfazed by the reprimand.

The “America’s Got Talent” judge, who now appears on the same TV network as the “Tonight Show” host, told his radio listeners that after slamming Leno on August 20, “I got a threatening kind of comment from one of the [NBC] executives.”

Stern, who has a long-standing feud with Leno, said, “I was laughing my a** off. I said, ‘Do not tell me to not talk about Jay Leno. I will f**king talk about Jay Leno for four hours if you tell me not to. I was done with Jay, now I’m all fired up again. F**k Jay!”

The radio host then added, “Take my job away from me. Who cares?”

“Don’t f**kin’ threaten me,” Stern warned, telling listeners, “I don’t answer to anybody.”

Stern, as promised, then went on to slam Leno all over again, criticizing him for touting his show’s pay cuts, saying, “Jay Leno is the biggest wuss on the planet… He’s a back-stabbing c*mbag.”

    Jay Leno is a gentleman. I had met him when he did a stand up comedy routine for charity here in Baltimore, MD at the Hippodrome Theater in 2006. It was for the National Kidney Foundation Of Maryland. I bought tickets because an old high school classmate died while waiting for a donor kidney. Jay volunteered to do the routine after his agent was contacted by a Hippodrome manager on behalf of the charity. I too believed Howard Stern and David Letterman when it came down to Jay Leno but my opinion changed when I met Jay. Jay took a pay cut to save some of his staff after new NBC owner Comcast Cable laid off some of his staff and was threatening to lay off more staff. I can watch Jay for free by connecting an antenna to my flat screen. You used to be able to listen to Howard Stern for free on FM radio here in Baltimore, but perverted Howard and friends couldn’t behave themselves, so he got pushed off the free airwaves and his only recourse was satellite. Plus, Howard Stern married Beth, who is probably a golddigger, because Howard makes $100 million a year and he is far from being Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise in terms of looks. David Letterman is a Viagra powered womanizer who banged members of his staff. Jay has been married to one woman, Mavis for 32 years. Howard Stern has been married twice and there is an 18 year age difference between him and possible golddigger Beth. I will stick by Jay, but with NBC’s actions as of late (butchering the Olympics, firing Ann Curry from the Today Show anchor chair at Matt Lauer’s request), nothing surprises me.

    I think Stern is kind of a dumb ass, sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut, and he’s a lousy judge for America’s Got Talent, praising lots of terrible acts, like that 10-year old who thinks he can sing opera.
