8:47 am, December 15th, 2011
Howard Stern will be a judge on “America’s Got Talent.”
The radio icon announced the news on Thursday.
He’ll judge alongside Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne.
Stern replaces Piers Morgan, who announced his departure from the competition series in November.
“America’s Got Talent” will also move to New York to accommodate Stern’s SiriusXM radio program.
In a statement from NBC to Gossip Cop, the network’s president of alternative and late night programming, Paul Telegdy, says,“Howard Stern’s larger-than-life personality will bring a thrilling new dynamic to ‘America’s Got Talent’ starting this summer,”
He adds, “He’s a proven innovator and his track record in broadcasting is truly remarkable. Howard is very passionate about this show and is fully committed to its future success.”
Do you think Stern will be a good addition to “America’s Got Talent”?
