Howard K. Stern Found Guilty in Anna Nicole Smith Drug Conspiracy Case

BREAKING!A jury has just convicted Howard K. Stern and Dr. Khristine Eroschevich in the Anna Nicole Smith drug case.
The legal proceedings concerned alleged funneling of prescription medications to Smith before her 2007 accidental overdose death.
Stern, who was Smith’s lawyer and boyfriend, was found guilty on two conspiracy counts, for giving false names and acting by fraud to obtain prescriptions.
He was acquitted of 7 other charges and remains free pending an appeal.
Dr. Eroshevich, Smith’s psychiatrist, was also found guilty of conspiracy, unlawfully prescribing Vicodin by fraud.
Smith’s personal physician, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, was acquitted of all 6 charges against him.
The jury deliberated for 58 hours before announcing their verdicts.
Stern will be back in court for sentencing on January 6.
