House Ending After Eight Seasons

The doctor is out.

“House” is ending after eight seasons, it was announced on Wednesday.

The FOX series about a cantankerous but brilliant doctor (Hugh Laurie) is set to conclude its network run this spring.

“After much deliberation, the producers of House M.D. have decided that this season of the show, the 8th, should be the last,” said executive producers David Shore, Katie Jacobs and Laurie in a statement.

“House” airs on Mondays at 8:00 p.m.

    Better to go out with a bang than a whimper. I stopped watching years ago because it was too repetitive but I loved it when it was fresh and new.

    I stopped enjoying it a couple of seasons ago. Each show is the same. The person you expect to get sick at the beginning of the show isn’t the one who ends up getting sick, the doctors practically kill the poor slob, they break into the patient’s house to look for contaminants, then House get an “Aha Moment” and solves the case.

    House has left the house.

    Im going to miss this shopw, I have seen every one of them,I love it!!! Sorry to seem it go.:(
    I will say that this season is stretching it, I really dont enjoy it like I did in the beginning.

    I agree that each episode is the same, and there is no character development, whatsoever… House will make some personal breakthrough in one episode, and will be exactly the same the next week.

    However, this is what people want. Take a look at all the top shows; they are all criminal or medical shows that are all completely interchangeable. Every episode of all these shows are identical to the last.

    My husband and I have watched House every season until they got the latset cast member (the short little girl) IT JUST GOT WEIRD and we can’t stand her character….She ruined the show and we don’t watch it anymore becasue of her character….Stupid move
