HollywoodLife Lies About Kylie Jenner And Tyga
First came “Kylie Jenner & Tyga: He Moves Out Of Her House After Breakup Drama,” which was based on an incorrect TMZ story. Gossip Cop was the first to exclusively confirm with an impeccable insider close to the situation that Tyga was NOT moving out, because he never lived with Jenner full-time in the first place. “They don’t live together. They never have. So this is a joke,” the rock-solid source told Gossip Cop.
But HollywoodLife didn’t correct its mistake. Instead, the webloid opted to post four follow-up stories all based on the initial wrong premise. The headline of the site’s first so-called “exclusive” read, “Kylie Jenner & Tyga: Kris ‘Put Her Foot Down’ & Influenced Him To Move Out.”
Next came “Blac Chyna Hoping Tyga Realizes Kylie Jenner’s Not ‘The One’ Now That He’s Moved Out.” That was followed by “Kylie Jenner & Tyga Obsessed With Each Other — Why He Had To Move Out.” And the headline of the final “exclusive” read, “Kylie Jenner & Tyga: When He’ll Move In With Her Again.”
But if HollywoodLife actually had “exclusive” sources about the stars’ living situation, it would’ve had the story right from the start. Of course, everyone knows the bad blog doesn’t care about accuracy. It does, however, care about taking a topic and coming up with multiple angles for it, so Google sees the webloid publishing original content and rewards it with traffic.
Gossip Cop has watched HollywoodLies pull this move again and again over the years. It’s the same method that was used earlier this month when the site ran a gazillion seemingly made-up stories on Jenner and Tyga’s brief split. The webloid even used the couple in its umpteen stories about Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s breakup, falsely claiming Jenner and Tyga wanted to care for Mason.
Gossip Cop called HollywoodLife out for that lie, just like we have with countless others, and we’re going to keep doing so. We encourage others to follow suit.
