Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie give $100,000 to foster care

In the spirit of the holidays, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie once again generously opened their wallet, and gave $100,000 to the American SOS Children’s Villages. It’s an alternative form of foster care with 500 locations (“villages”) around the world.
The Pitt-Jolie donation was given to the villages in Florida and Illinois.
In a statement Jolie – a mother of six – said, “We have seen first-hand the remarkable job SOS does to raise orphaned and abandoned children and keep families together. No one ‘ages out’ of an SOS Village: vocational training, advanced education, living assistance and more support are there forever.”
