Hillary Clinton Surprised On Thanksgiving With Gratitude Messages Outside Home
Hillary Clinton was surprised on Thanksgiving with signs of gratitude posted outside her home by strangers. Check out the photo below!
On Thursday, the former First Lady and Secretary of State took to Twitter to share a holiday message. “Hoping everyone has a safe & Happy Thanksgiving today, & quality time with family & friends. -H,” she wrote.
But less than a half hour later, Clinton returned to Twitter to share a discovery. The Democratic presidential nominee posted a photo of signs displayed outside her residence, all in her honor. One clearly says, “Thank you Hillary,” while another appears to read, “We are thankful for Hillary an American hero.”
Clinton tweeted with the picture, “I was greeted by this heartwarming display on the corner of my street today. Thank you to all of you who did this. Happy Thanksgiving. -H.” In less than two hours, the tweet had been “liked” nearly 60,000 times.
The anonymous gesture came a day after Clinton posed for selfies with admirers as she did some shopping with husband Bill and daughter Chelsea. Presumably, the family is having a quiet, private Thanksgiving celebration. Meanwhile, as some call for Clinton to challenge the election results, President-elect Donald Trump did a Thanksgiving video message on Wednesday night, as Gossip Cop reported.
