Hillary Clinton Tells Ryan Seacrest: I’m “Superstitious” About Election (AUDIO)
“I’ve worn the same bracelets, the same necklace. I am not talking to anybody about what they’re hearing in terms of early votes, and all the rest of it, because I am superstitious,” Clinton confessed. “But I’m just going to do everything I can in these next 24 hours.”
Asked how she’s feeling, Clinton told Seacrest, “It is such an amazing combination of emotions, Ryan, because it is physically demanding, obviously. You got to have this endurance test to run for president, but it’s also exhilarating and it’s so energizing and exciting… It is truly the most rewarding and overwhelming experience you can possibly imagine.”
Seacrest also wondered how much sleep the candidate will get tonight. “I don’t think it’s going to be more than two or three hours at the most,” she answered. Elsewhere during the discussion, Clinton spoke about her email scandal, shared her willingness to work with Republican opponent Donald Trump and his supporters going forward, and took a question from a 7-year-old boy.
She also said at the end, “I hope all of your listeners will get out to vote, Ryan. Obviously, I hope they’ll vote for me, but just vote. It really is your future at stake in this election.” Check out the full interview below.
