A rep for Hilary Duff confirms to Gossip Cop what we reported earlier today: She and Mike Comrie are engaged.

“Hilary Duff & Mike Comrie were engaged this weekend while vacationing in Hawaii,” the rep tells us. “After having been together for over two years, they are very excited to share this happy news.  They are thankful for all of your warm wishes.”

Hilary Duff is engaged to Edmonton Oilers player Mike Comrie.

A Duff staffer told Gossip Cop an official statement will be released later.

The proposal took place in Hawaii, where the “Lizzie McGuire” star and her NHL beau are still vacationing.

Duff and Comrie have been dating for a few years.
