Jennifer Lawrence topped Forbes’ list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood for the second year in a row, earning an estimated $46 million over the past 12 months. Check out a photo gallery below of the top 10 earners of 2016!
Despite her total earnings being down 11.5% from $52 million in 2015, Lawrence still took the number one spot largely due to getting a piece of the profit from the final Hunger Games installment, as well a $20 million payday for the upcoming sci-fi drama Passengers. Melissa McCarthy follows in second with $33 million, thanks in part to her eight-figure salary for this summer’s Ghostbusters reboot and role on the CBS sitcom “Mike and Molly.”
Sitting at number three is Scarlett Johansson with $25 million, most of which comes from her paycheck for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Ghost in the Shell. The actress also receives good money from her Dolce & Gabbana endorsement deal. The fourth spot goes to Jennifer Aniston, whose advertisements for Emirates airlines, Smartwater, Aveeno and Living Proof make up a large chunk of her $21 million earnings. And rounding out the top five is international movie star Fan Bingbing, the only Chinese actress to make the list. Thanks to her overseas hits and endorsements with Chopard and L’Oreal, the actress took home $17 million over the past year. Check out the gallery below of the 10 Highest-Paid Actresses of 2016!
