Jennifer Lawrence topped the 2015 Forbes ranking of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood, earning an estimated $52 million over the past 12 months. Check out the photo gallery below of who else made the cut and how much each earned!
Lawrence shot to the top of the list mostly thanks to her starring role in The Hunger Games franchise, which has proven to be a box office phenomenon. A good chunk of the actress’ income also comes from her lucrative contract as the official face of Dior. Ranking in at number two was Scarlett Johansson with an estimated $35.5 million. The actress, who makes around $10 million per film, had two huge blockbuster hits in the past year. Her supporting role in Avengers: Age of Ultron and starring role in Lucy helped secure her second place.
Melissa McCarthy nabbed the number three spot with $23 million. The comedic actress headlined two big hits in 2014 and 2015, Tammy and Spy, respectively. International star Bingbing Fan, who took in around $21 million, is the only non-American to make the list. In addition to starring in big movies overseas, she has endorsement deals with Chopard and L’Oreal. Jennifer Aniston rounded out the top five with a year’s take of $16.5 million. Despite some of her recent films only finding moderate success at the box office, she still earns a hefty figure from endorsing products such as Aveeno and Smart Water.
