Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have gone their separate ways.

Montag’s rep confirmed the split to Gossip Cop: ”Heidi appreciates all the support and concern, we hope everyone will respect her privacy during this difficult time.”

Montag left Pratt for allegedly being too controlling and to more openly pursue her acting career.

Just earlier this week, Montag tweeted, “PS: I am not Heidi Pratt, I am Heidi Montag.”

The usually vocal Pratt has been surprisingly silent on the subject of their breakup.
