Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have reportedly ended negotiations with Vivid Entertainment to release a sex tape.

In a letter to Vivid kingpin Steven Hirsch, Pratt’s camp claims that his estranged wife “made it very clear that she is not interested” and that “it looks like she pulled the kill switch,” according to TMZ.

Supposedly, the letter adds, “Spencer’s not interested in further destroying their relationship by pursuing an avenue she’s so vehemently against.”

Hmm.

Pratt’s reluctance to go against Montag’s wishes represents a bit of a departure from his previous tactics.

For now, though, it seems like that part of the couple’s private life will remain private.
