Heather Locklear Arrested for Hit-and-Run

Heather Locklear was arrested for a hit-and-run incident, Gossip Cop can confirm.
A crash occurred near North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, CA at about 4:00 AM on Saturday, but the man who heard the collision didn’t call law enforcement officials until 7:48 PM that evening.
Captain Ross Bonfiglio of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department tells Gossip Cop deputies on the scene found a knocked over “No Parking” sign and other evidence that a car had jumped the curb.
A subsequent investigation led officers to Locklear, who lives nearby.
Upon inspection of her black 2005 BMW, which showed damage consistent with the accident, Locklear was arrested. Her offense is a misdemeanor, and she was cited and released rather than brought into custody.
Locklear has a court appearance on May 17.
While Capt. Bonfiglio wouldn’t discuss the strength of the case, Gossip Cop has heard Locklear’s 2008 DUI arrest could play a role.
