Head Scratch: OK! Mag Now Declares Robsten “Back on Track”

Sometimes it’s too easy.

Last week OK! magazine trumpeted an “exclusive” cover story in which “Twilight” stars and rumored real-life couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart supposedly “split.” There was, of course, absolutely nothing to the story. The mag tossed together a bunch of rumors to justify its cover claim — and then gave itself an out by saying things between the two may not be over after all. It was an exquisite example of tabloid tomfoolery.

At the time Gossip Cop laughed and half-jokingly suggested OK! would reverse its claim of “heartbreak” and have Pattinson and Stewart back together in time for this week’s cover.

Guess what!?!

They did!

The tab happily reports Pattinson and Stewart met up for a “secret meeting” in Rob’s luxury suite at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles on Oct. 29. A “source” (and we hope it isn’t the same one who gave OK! last week‘s “exclusive”) tells the mag they “stayed for several hours and talked through their problems.”

(Boy, it was a good thing the mag’s “source” was sitting in the luxury suite with them!)

Well, Gossip Cop couldn’t have scripted a more predictable reversal if we tried. So the fight and split no one else could confirm was resolved by a “secret meeting” no one else could confirm just a few days later? How convenient!

Gossip Cop doesn’t think OK! magazine has any insight into whether Pattinson and Stewart are a couple, have been a couple, or will be a couple.

But we have a suggestion. The tab can ask the pair anything it likes when Pattinson, Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and others participate in a live question-and-answer event at Battersea Park as part of the big UK Fan Event on November 11. We hope OK! gets tickets!

    PMSL Gossip Cop you crack me up………Hahaha this line finished me off————–and we hope it isn’t the same one who gave OK! last week’s “exclusive———— yes it seems so hey! Well done for shooting down shite again. Only good thing about OK mag is it uses some great Robsten pictures.

    I too hope OK get some tickets as they dont need to travel too far from their London ofices to attend.

    No Nik, I am kind of partial to (Boy, it was a good thing the mag’s “source” was sitting in the luxury suite with them!) That is priceless…I swear when will this crap end? Oh wait, it never will, because they are going to get married and have little Robsten Renesme babies before it’s all said and done, just ask OK magazine, they’ll tell you.
