“One Direction’s Harry Styles To Play Mick Jagger In Upcoming Film,” reads a headline from HollywoodLife.

According to the webloid, the young singer is set to star as Jagger “in a new film about the Rolling Stones frontman’s life.”

The blog then quotes a “source” as saying, “Harry on stage can pass as a dead ringer for Jagger,” adding that “he’s going to be a serious candidate to get the part” in the film, Exile On Main St.

So, when will there be an official announcement about Styles’ role as Jagger?

A week from… never.

Styles’ agent tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the report — picked up and disseminated widely — is “completely false.”
