Harry Styles NOT Starring In “Scream Queens,” Despite Reports (EXCLUSIVE)
Harry Styles is NOT going to star in “Scream Queens,” despite reports. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the rumor. We’re told by insiders it’s “not true.”
The Daily Mail exclaimed in a headline, “One Direction star lands a role in Scream Queens.” The misinformed tabloid adds that now that Styles is on hiatus from his group, he’s going to make his “acting debut in the Fox series Scream Queens when it returns for a second season.” The paper adds he’ll “star as a doctor” on a handful of episodes, and that the show’s stars Emma Roberts and Keke Palmer are “currently fighting” over whose character gets to be with him.
Bizarrely, the newspaper reported that it had previously been an “unconfirmed rumor,” but that the “show’s official Twitter account confirmed the news on Saturday, tweeting from the series’ PaleyFest panel in Los Angeles, “@RobertsEmma and @KekePalmer are currently fighting over who will get to be with @Harry_Styles in Season 2. #ScreamQueens #PaleyFest.” The official “Scream Queens” account absolutely did not confirm the rumor, which wrongly keeps popping up.
In any event, Gossip Cop speaks only to insiders, and were exclusively assured that the rumors about Harry Styles joining the cast of “Scream Queens” is 100 percent “not true.” One of Gossip Cop’s impeccable sources adds, despite the repetition of the claim, “It’s not happening.”
