Halle Berry Loses Court Bid to Move to France With Daughter Nahla

After a months-long court battle, Halle Berry’s bid to move to France with 4-year-old daughter Nahla was rejected on Friday.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Berry was petitioning for the right to move overseas, where she argued Nahla would be much safer from intrusive paparazzi.

Nahla’s father Gabriel Aubry objected, however, and noted how difficult it would be to maintain a meaningful relationship with the little girl.

In a hearing on Friday afternoon, a judge ruled in Aubry’s favor, reports TMZ.

Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Berry for comment.

    I genuinely feel sorry for Halle. Every mother who cares for her child going to do her best to protect them. I would not raise a dog in Hollywood. Hm, as I know my dog, he will loose his patience and bite some paparazzi into the ass. It’s a shame that America doesn’t not feel the need to protecting their people. Fame is a one thing, but life is more important.

    If Halle fear for her daughter security so she wants to move to protect her, and daughter’s father really care for her, then he should not have a problem move to France too. I know I would.

    I guess, someone just care more for his carrier.

    Why should he have to move to another country because the mother decides to get married? This was her doing, I’m sure Olivier would have no problem staying in California. That’s not protecting her child, Halle is being selfish & only thinking of herself. If she wants to move to France so bad, leave Nahla with Gabriel and move. She can be the one to visit.

    I’m glad the judge rejected her request to take that baby to another country. Halle actually has a man who is there for his child and she’s trying to take her away? She could stay in LA or in a more smaller area, she’s so full of it.

    Okay. I’ve seen some really horrible white fathers. Don’t go there. I’ve seen horrible fathers in every color. I’ve also seen very devoted fathers in every color. Not cool to go there.

    If this was about safety, she would not have chosen France. The paparazzi there us the most aggressive and reckless in the world. Princess Di died as a result. Kate Middleton was snapped while she was in her own back yard two km from a road. They spare no effort in France to get a photo. If she said she wants to move to Russia, Denmark, turkey or a country that has decent laws against invasion of privacy I could believe it.

    The laws regarding pics of children are very different in France. They are not allowed to photograph minors and if they do the face has to be blurred out. I’m not defending Halle, I’m just saying the laws regarding minors are different and VERY tough.

    Good call by the judge!! There is no good reason for this woman to take her child to another country away from the child’s father. Now the courts have spoken. If Halle truly cared about her daughter she would not want her child to grow up without a father the way she did. Halle has said she never had any sort of relationship with her Daddy during her childhood. In my opinion, that is the root of Halle’s problems with men. She is attracted to monsters who cheat on her, beat her, leave her. She finally gets a nice man who seems to have loved her and who definitely wants to co-parent his child with her and what does she do? She tries to take his child away and move to another continent. This woman has serious issues. I can only hope this has been solved and Gabriel can be the father he wants to be to Nahla and she can grow up without the same issues her mother grew up with.
