Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry End Custody Battle, Reach Agreement Over Nahla

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have settled their years-long custody battle.

Attorneys for the former couple released a joint statement on Thursday, saying, “The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter.”

Both lawyers appeared in court in the afternoon, along with Aubry, to present the settlement to the judge.

The agreement, which details care for daughter Nahla, comes exactly one week after a Thanksgiving brawl between Aubry and Berry’s fiance Olivier Martinez.

Although Aubry was arrested for battery, and mutual restraining orders were taken out among the parities, it’s unlikely he will be prosecuted.

    Since when is it anyones business besides the parties involved during a custody battle? There shouldn’t have to be a statement at all, let alone a “joint statement”. This is stupid that they felt the need to alert people about their child. I feel so bad for the children of Hollyhood celebrity’s.

    Bullseye! Very well written and very smart analysis. Particulary since family law issues are so sensitive that the courts are forced to take extra precaution……and considering that this is a high-profile case I truly believe that the ‘joint statement’ s should most certainly been ‘no comment.’ Period.

    Agree she is using her power and money to get what she wants and she does not care if her daughter doesn’t see her dad. It’s all about her. Selfish woman, to me she is a bully. She wants to live in Paris so she expects that the ex moves too??? Really ?? She pretends I also think she is soo fake.

    she settled the case because she is in the losing end.the court of public opinion is not on her side.its okey if you dont need the public to support your career but its affecting her image.the busted face of Gabriel courtesy of her boyfriend raged is not looking good in court helping her custody case either.its a win win situations for Gabriel and Nahla.
