A story spreading across the Internet like a nasty virus has Gwyneth Paltrow trying to force her husband Chris Martin to leave Coldplay, the band he fronts.

Having first started on the Betty Confidential site, the tale has a so-called ‘pal’ of Paltrow saying, “Gwyneth has outright told Chris that he should consider going solo.”

So what was Chris Martin’s manufactured reaction to this fabricated rumor?

According to Betty Confidential: “When Gwyneth mentioned it, Chris was furious . . . Chris basically ignored her and walked away.” Which is precisely what we all should do from this made-up story.
