Gwyneth Paltrow Demanding Brad Falchuk Ask Chris Martin’s Permission To Marry?
Gwyneth Paltrow is not demanding Brad Falchuk ask Chris Martin’s permission to marry her, despite a ridiculous report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the claim. As we suspected, Paltrow’s rep confirms the allegation is made up.
The story can be found in the new issue of Life & Style, which was released on Wednesday. The magazine alleges that while Paltrow is “officially uncoupled” from Martin, she’s “told her man” Falchuk “to ask her ex-husband’s permission before popping the question.” A so-called source is quoted as saying, “Gwyn wants to involve Chris in her new life and keep things amicable as possible.”
The problem, according to the tabloid, is that “the odd request isn’t sitting too well with her producer beau.” In fact, the supposed snitch claims Falchuk “fears she’s still trying to cling on to her old life.” But this isn’t the first time Life & Style has tried to create a love triangle of sorts for Paltrow and Martin.
Last year, the outlet erroneously claimed the actress was “determined to drive a wedge” between the singer and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence. But the magazine was off-base then, and is again now, proving it doesn’t actually have Paltrow insight. Indeed, her rep tells us these latest Martin-Falchuk allegations are absolute “nonsense.”
