Gwyneth Paltrow Did NOT Ban People From Looking At Her At Party, Despite Claim
Gwyneth Paltrow did NOT ban people from looking at her, despite a ridiculous report that calls her a “party pooper.” Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim.
The allegation can be found in the pages of Star. The piece begins by cruelly announcing that Paltrow “may be a better actress than we thought.” It’s said she was “all smiles when she arrived at a recent Svedka Vodka bash in Los Angeles, but the second her photo op was over, she went from sweet to sour.”
“Once she got to her VIP table, she became a different person,” a supposed “witness” claims to the magazine. “Her handlers said no one was allowed to approach, smile or even look at her — or they’d get booted from the party.”
It’s worth noting this story comes from the same outlet that has been caught telling false tales about Paltrow for years. In 2013, Star said she was set to make a cameo on “Downton Abbey,” only to claim in 2014 that she was banned from television roles. That same year, it was wrongly alleged she was writing a book on divorce, and last fall, the tabloid erroneously said she selling Goop.
Now Gossip Cop can confirm this party report is inaccurate, too. We spoke with multiple people to investigate the VIP rudeness claims, and one contact emphatically told us, “She would never ever do something like that.” And Paltrow’s rep also dismissed the story, exclusively telling Gossip Cop it’s “complete B.S.”
