Gwen Stefani And Miranda Lambert “At War” Over Blake Shelton? (EXCLUSIVE)
Gwen Stefani and Miranda Lambert are NOT “at war” over Blake Shelton, despite a new tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the report. Sources close to the parties involved assure us the article was made up to increase drama.
Indeed, the new cover of Life & Style, which hit newsstands on Tuesday, dramatically announces, “Jealousy! Revenge! Miranda explodes in anger as Gwen flaunts her new romance. Now Blake’s caught in the middle.” The accompanying story alleges Lambert is “seething” about Shelton’s relationship with Stefani, and now the two women are “locked in a bitter battle.”
“Gwen is marking her territory in a very public way, and Miranda is not going to just sit back while she does it,” a so-called “insider” tells the magazine, adding, “All I can say is expect fireworks!” Noting Stefani and Shelton’s PDA on the set of “The Voice,” the tipster says, “Gwen is having a ball sticking it to Miranda.”
The alleged snitch continues, “Gwen has heard that Miranda is not handling her ex moving on like a mature adult and she is furious about it.” Meanwhile, it’s alleged Lambert “thinks Gwen is just using Blake. She says the relationship will end as soon as ‘The Voice’ is done for the season.” But despite the aforementioned promise of “fireworks,” the magazine conveniently says the women don’t “want a face-to-face confrontation” and will instead express themselves through music.
It’s all pretty rich considering this is the same outlet that claimed just last week Stefani and Shelton were “over already,” after previously alleging they were planning a “wedding.” Life & Style has never known what’s going on with the key players here, and it still doesn’t. A reputable insider close to Stefani exclusively tells Gossip Cop she would never “purposefully” try to hurt Lambert, while a source on Lambert’s side notes that she’s “moving on” and doesn’t feel “targeted.”
There is no “war” over Shelton. The only war is between Life & Style and the facts.
