Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton NOT Getting Prenup Advice From Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are NOT getting prenup advice from Gwyneth Paltrow, despite a wholly fabricated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story, which comes from one of the tabloids.
Star writes in this week’s issue, “Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may dare each other to Go Ahead and Break My Heart, but that’s only because they’ve got a prenup in place should one of them actually do it!” It’s claimed, “Gwen, who is expected to exchange vows with the country singer later this year, consulted with conscious uncoupling expert pal Gwyneth Paltrow on her peaceful split from Chris Martin.”
“She told them to hash out as many details as they could now while they’re head over heels for each other,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. “This includes annual ‘marriage summits’ in which they sit down and check in with each other, set goals and discuss callbacks.”
The alleged “tipster” goes on, “They’ve also agreed to keep their finances separate and if they have a baby, to divide assets and custody fairly.” The magazine notes that this isn’t the “most romantic thing on the couple’s to-do list before the big day,” but its supposed snitch adds, “Blake and Gwen both know what it’s like to get blindsided.”
And here Star has blindsided Stefani, Shelton, AND Paltrow with this story. The two musicians are NOT engaged, as Gossip Cop has already reported, and they have NOT “consulted” with the actress on a prenup. A rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop that those allegations are “completely made up.”
Gossip Cop, of course, condemns all fabrications, but at least this one wasn’t as hurtful as one of the tabloid’s previous efforts. In March, Star made up a “baby heartbreak” cover story, claiming Stefani had miscarried. For shame.
