Gwen Stefani “Miscarriage” Made Up By Shameful Tabloid
Gwen Stefani is the unfortunate victim of the week’s most disgusting tabloid cover story, which shamefully speculates she recently had a “miscarriage.”
The new issue of Star, which came out on Wednesday, announces, “Gwen’s Baby Heartbreak!” Using photos supposedly taken of Stefani in the parking lot of a Los Angeles hospital last month, the magazine claims that she and boyfriend Blake Shelton have been “trying to conceive for four months,” but now “may have to abandon their hopes for a child together.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “She doesn’t want to talk about it, but her friends are afraid she might have had a miscarriage or was told that she can’t have any more kids.”
“Gwen and Blake are so in love and have been trying like crazy to conceive a baby. They thought it happened — she told him she had all the signs of being pregnant,” claims the supposed source. “They were absolutely ecstatic and couldn’t wait for the doctor to confirm the happy news.”
But now, says the alleged tipster, “Gwen must be devastated. I think she’s scared that Blake will leave her if she can’t have his baby.” Gossip Cop imagines Stefani is actually devastated over a magazine disgustingly speculating whether she miscarried a child.
It’s also worth noting that while Star says the pictures of Stefani support its theory that she “may have just received bad news about her and Blake’s baby dream,” it was just last week that sister publication OK! used the same exact photos to claim she was hiding a baby bump and was photographed leaving the doctor after finding out she was expecting twins.
So, which is it? Neither. Stefani was not pregnant last month, as her rep exclusively confirmed to Gossip Cop, nor was she the other times the tabloids have claimed it in the last few months. But this sensational cover story from Star about a supposed “miscarriage” is the worst of the worst. What a shameful way to help OK! get out of its pregnancy lies.
