Gwen Stefani “Make Me Like You” Live Music Video: Watch Grammys Commercial Break Performance Here!
Gwen Stefani made history on Monday when she made a live music video for “Make Me Like You” during a Grammys commercial break. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Stefani released “Make Me Like You” last week as the second single from her upcoming album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like. Just a few days prior, it was revealed that Stefani planned to make a full-on music video for the song that would be recorded during a four-minute-long commercial break as CBS broadcast the Grammys. It’s the first time a star has ever sought to create a live music video on television.
So, how did it go? Despite the time constraint, Stefani managed to have multiple sets and several costume changes. Stefani first awoke on a set of stairs at the scene of a car crash, before she was whisked away by a team of dancers. The “Voice” coach was then pulled into a beauty parlor, and emerged with a sparkly new jacket. At one point, she was actually surrounded by dancers wearing masks of her face.
After a (fake) ride on some bikes, Stefani ended up at a club, where she performed at a piano. The singer next donned a pair of roller skates and went for a spin around a rink, even doing choreography. At the end, she was lifted into the sky.
Now with it all filmed, editors will work their magic, polishing the footage, and a finished version will later premiere on Vevo. Gossip Cop will have video from the Grammys break shortly, as well as the official music video when it debuts. UPDATE: The official video is below!
