Gwen Stefani’s Hair Costs $3,000 A Month To Color Blonde?
Gwen Stefani does not spend $3,000 a month on coloring her hair, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to Life & Style, Stefani “spares no expense when it comes to keeping her tresses bleached her signature shade of platinum blonde.” A so-called “insider” tells the tabloid, “She spends $3,000 a month on her hair coloring alone.” The magazine claims she “doesn’t mind the cost,” and quotes its supposed source as saying, “She will never, ever let her roots go dark.”
The repeatedly discredited publication’s alleged “insider” further states that Blake Shelton has “noticed how time-consuming and expensive Gwen’s haircare is, and he’s asked her to consider going back to brunette.” Stefani, however, feels her “platinum hair is part of her identity, and she won’t change it,” contends the tabloid’s informant.
While it’s true that Stefani’s dyes her hair platinum blonde, Shelton never asked her to go back to brown hair. And more significantly, while the singer does spend money on her hair, the $3,000 figure is way higher than her monthly expense. A rep for Stefani exclusively tells Gossip Cop the Life & Style story is “not true.”
Of course, we’re not shocked by the falsity of the tabloid’s latest tale. Gossip Cop busted the publication back in November when it wrongly claimed Shelton and Stefani were “already over.” And the magazine’s reporting didn’t get better with time. Gossip Cop corrected the outlet just a few months ago when it inaccurately stated Stefani proposed marriage to Shelton. Much like those untrue stories (and others), the new one about Stefani’ shelling out $3,000 a month on her hair is also off-base.
