Gwen Stefani And Gavin Rossdale Confirm Divorce After 13 Years Of Marriage
Gwen Stefani has filed for divorce from Gavin Rossdale after 13 years of marriage and three kids, Gossip Cop confirms. In statement, the couple says, “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time.”
Stefani filed initially, citing “irreconcilable differences.” She asked for joint custody and that Rossdale not be awarded spousal support. Tipping off that it was a a mutual decision was that Rossdale shortly thereafter filed his own petition, similarly seeking joint custody of their boys Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
The couple does not have a prenuptial agreement and will be subject to California’s 50/50 community property laws, meaning they will split their marital assets in half. Stefani reportedly has an $80 million fortune, while Rossdale brings $35 million to the table.
The couple had wrongly been the subject of split rumors for many years, and Gossip Cop often debunked the tabloids for their inaccurate reports, but sadly now the two rockers are divorcing.
