Gwen Stefani joined Blake Shelton on stage on Saturday night at the Country Jam festival in Grand Junction, Colorado, where she surprised the crowd and not only helped him celebrate his 40th birthday, but also performed with him. Around halfway through Shelton’s two-hour-performance, Stefani got onstage and the two performed their song, “Go Ahead And Break My Heart.”

But that wasn’t Stefani’s only appearance during Shelton’s set. While he was performing his encore, Stefani came back and performed “Hella Good” to the crowd’s delight. She then wished Shelton a happy birthday, and gave him a kiss in front of the entire audience. See the videos below.

Not long after the concert ended, Shelton tweeted, “I possibly witnessed the coolest and craziest thing of my life tonight…. Thank you Colorado and @gwenstefani!!! Look up the videos!!” Stefani then replied on Twitter, “@blakeshelton ummmmm?? Did that really just happen? #happybday #hellagood #breakmyheart gx.”

As Gossip Cop reported earlier on Saturday, Stefani kicked off Shelton’s birthday celebration by tweeting out a photo of him as a child, along with the message, “Happy birthday to my favorite person I ever met @blakeshelton gx #superbabe.” Shelton responded, “Now THIS is how you start your 40’s!!!!!!!! Thank you @gwenstefani for everything.” Stefani in turn replied with kissing emojis.

Shelton and Stefani started dating in late October. And while they have celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and Valentine’s Day together, Saturday marked the first birthday they’ve spent together as a couple.
