Griffin O’Neal in Car Crash Just Hours After Brother Redmond’s Arrest

Ryan O’Neal‘s 46-year-old son Griffin O’Neal was hospitalized after a car accident in San Diego yesterday, just hours after his half brother Redmond was busted for marijuana and heroin possession in Santa Monica.

Authorities say O’Neal veered into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle. He was trapped in his car, and had to be helped out by the fire department.

The actor was taken to Palomar Medical Center, where he was treated for moderate injuries.

The other driver was not injured.

Police said they are investigating to see if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
