Not all TV viewers got to see Macklemore and Madonna’s historic Grammys performance on Sunday, where 33 gay and straight couples married as Queen Latifah officiated from the stage.

Some AT&T U-Verse subscribers in Florida saw their television sets cut to black just seconds after Latifah introduced the performance, with the broadcast coming back only after the segment had ended.

Many of those affected took to social media to question whether the feed was intentionally cut, but a spokesperson says the disruption was just a technology glitch.

“Due to a fiber cut [on Sunday] night shortly after 11 pm, some Orlando, Fla., U-verse customers may have experienced a brief disruption of local TV affiliate channels, including CBS. Technicians worked to quickly reroute the impacted video feed and service was restored in about 10 minutes. We apologize for this inconvenience,” the rep says in a statement.
