The Grammys don’t mean what they used to, but it’s nice to see the Black Keys and Gotye getting recognition. The rest of the winners were par for course in popularity (even Gotye’s song was everywhere).

considering how big metal and alt. metal is, i am quite offended that there is only one category and the group that won i wouldn’t consider good metal or alt. metal. post-hardcore would be my suggestion, possibly replace one of the many rap/pop categories

I agree about the poor choice of name for a song from Jay z and Kanye, but honestly wouldn’t expect anything less from these two. As for pop it’s listed first, rock is listed seventh and punk music died in the 80′s, did you actually read the whole article before you commented?

So except rap , rn’b and many sorts of classic, folk and jazz….there is nothing else?!
What about the rock, punk, pop….etc…..are you kidding me?’
And how come J-Z have N world in a song title?!
Where on earth is equality?!
If that world is offensive, how come black can use it, and white can’t?!?!
If its offensive to them, but they are comfortable using it, why are being people called racists if they use it too?!
