A New York rumor spreading like cream cheese on a bagel had a certain “Sex and the City” star getting engaged. Specifically, that Chris Noth, Mr. Big himself, was set to tie the knot with longtime girlfriend Tara Wilson.
Incredibly – and comically – the very same celebrity weeklies we often correct actually came to Gossip Cop to find out if it was real or rumor. Well, Gossip Cop contacted Noth directly, and he set the record straight.
Oh, do you want to know what he said?
Noth texted Gossip Cop back to call engagement buzz “Not true.”
Well, now that we got the truth, we better not see this rumor repeated in the tabs!

Hmmm. I’m not surprised. The tabloids are that lazy. What I’d really like to see is a serious report on why it is some tabloids have it in for certain celebrities. Specifically Bauer and it’s fixation/hate on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. It seems almost personal when it comes to Angelina. If they aren’t ripping on her they’ve got fabricated stories about Shiloh a 3 yr old and/or the twins. It’s bizarre.
