There have been rumors this afternoon that Vanessa Hudgens is going to join the cast of “Eclipse,” the third installment in the “Twilight” series, as Leah Clearwater. Her presence in Vancouver, where the movie is being filmed, fueled speculation across gossip sites and the Twitterverse.
The “Twilight Examiner” blog asks, “Is Vanessa Hudgens the newest ‘Eclipse’ star or is it Julia Jones?”
Gossip Cop has the definitive answer: Hudgens will NOT be in “Eclipse.” (She’s in Vancouver for the film “Sucker Punch.”)
The role has gone to Jones, who will be working alongside newcomer Bryce Dallas Howard as well as returning stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.
