Gossip Cop on Rumor Britney Spears & Jason Trawick Split

In terms of love, “Britney Spears is once again a solo artist,” E! Online declares.
Citing an exclusive “source,” the site claims Spears and boyfriend Jason Trawick “called it quits at the end of February.”
“They were fighting a lot and have not been getting along,” according to the source. “They both just needed to take a break from each other. It wasn’t working out.”
As the site admits, however, the rumored split isn’t necessarily final. “Reconciliation remains on the table,” according to E! Online.
Gossip Cop would like to suggest that rumors of a split might be premature.
Why?
A Spears family confidante tells Gossip Cop she has seen Britney’s mother Lynne Spears several times this week, and that Lynne has said nothing at all about her daughter and Trawick breaking up.
