But even if we don’t take Nikki’s word, Grace wrote, “it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that nikki wanted more than rob and she was obviously hurt when rob chose kristen over her.” I’m not sure how one can guess another person’s hidden intentions, but it you’ve been following Gossip Cop, you probably realize that we have numerous inside sources (and have broken lots of “Twilight” stories) — and not one person could confirm a romance between Nikki and Rob — “official,” unofficial or otherwise.

On a separate note, this has nothing to do with Fox or any agenda. As a matter of fact, I have many, many dear friends at Fox. But if a story is factually inaccurate, I will correct it, regardless of which outlet it is.

if you (or your staff) truly don’t know the past situation between rob/nikki maybe this sentence, “Oh, boy. This is so, so old, and so, so wrong” was a bad choice of words.

also, the title is misleading because you DON’T KNOW if “Fox411 Lacks Any 411 on Robert Pattinson with Nikki Reed”.

and rating it a “1″ on the rumor meter seems low when you just stated you actually have no idea if it is a rumor or not.

in short, maybe you (and your staff) should be certain a story is lacking veracity before you call them out. it will give you more credibility. at least with me.

I will concede one thing, I have no idea if Nikki and Rob had a “thing.” No clue. As a result, I also have no idea if Fox411 was wrong. I do know that the editor of this site and my partner, Michael Lewittes, has sources as good as anyone in the business and he just wants the truth. He is the ones making the calls on ALL content on this site, not me.

Honestly, if I was going to take my supposed axe and decide to swing it at Fox it would be much easier to do it on my site Mediaite.com which often covers Fox News Channel. Then again, I don’t supervise the content on that site either and we have had more people accuse us of being too soft on Fox news rather than too harsh.

Actually I think, please correct me if wrong, but there was a party or something with the cast, and Kristen and Nikki were together along and leaving it… and also I think they were doing pizza-night or something like that one day… and who knows what else is happening behind the cameras that we don’t know… and IMHO shouldn’t care…
I just think they both look happy when hanging out together… like real friends… I have this memory in my mind (from ComicCon outside saying “hi” to ppl), when Kristen turns, realizes Nikki is right behind her, and squeezes Nikki in a hug as any of us would do when haven’t seen a friend for a long time, for whichever the reasons are that only she knows (and me speculates it was work, ie. filming other movie)…

More than that… *shrugs*

And to the actual “information” Fox411 gives… In a (in fact) recent interview, Nikki said something like she didn’t even dated Robert, so… *shrugs again*… I’m not buying ANYTHING that has “Fox” label since a while… a very long while…
