Gordon Ramsay Hospitalized After Getting Knocked Out in Soccer Game (VIDEO)

A charity soccer match on Sunday went awry for Gordon Ramsay, who was taken to the hospital after getting knocked out.

The celebrity chef was playing with fellow stars, including Will Ferrell, Gerard Butler and Mike Meyers, in Soccer Aid 2012 in London when he collided with retired English player Teddy Sheringham.

Unable to get up, Ramsay was removed from the field via stretcher, with an oxygen mask over his face.

Thankfully, it was later determined that the “Hell’s Kitchen” host hadn’t injured his back as badly as initially feared.

He tweeted early Monday, “Out of hospital after receiving amazing care from medics at ground & hospital. Bit sore but fine.”

Incidentally, Ferrell was also injured later in the match, leaving the game after hurting his leg.
