Good Girl “America’s Got Talent” Audition Video: “American Spice Girls” Are “Flawless” – WATCH!
Girl group Good Girl blew away Mel B and the rest of the judges on “America’s Got Talent” on Tuesday. Watch below!
Four Philadelphia women aged 21 and 23 said they wanted to be the “American Spice Girls.” Naturally, they named Mel their favorite, and said they were all about “bringing girl power back.” But after they said they sing in trains and bars for “practice,” you would never guess the incredible performance that was to follow.
Together they sang the En Vogue hit “Don’t Let Go,” pulling off harmonies, some choreography, and even going a capella at the end. Howie Mandel gave a standing ovation, and told fellow judge Simon Cowell, “Sign them up now!”
Cowell, who previously worked with Fifth Harmony, told the aspiring stars, “I like you girls. I think it is a little bit copycat — I mean this in a really positive way. There is a gap in the market for a band like you right now.” The mogul encouraged the group to “do something a little more quirky,” but praised their voices, adding, “This is exciting.”
And Heidi Klum noted, “I loved it, too. I think you girls are fantastic… Mainly, I love your attitudes.” But what about their idol? Mel B enthusiastically exclaimed, “I have to say, I haven’t seen a girl band that is already that tight in a very, very long time. That was flawless. I thoroughly enjoyed it!”
