Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell were NOT caught having a “screaming match,” despite an obviously made-up report. Gossip Cop can reveal what’s going on.

“TOTAL MELTDOWN! Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell Get Into Screaming Match In Malibu,” blares a headline from RadarOnline. According to the site, “Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are known as the happiest unmarried couple in Hollywood. But on Friday, photographers saw the aftermath of what looked like a nasty argument between the two.” Readers are urged to “look at Radar’s gallery of Hawn and Russell’s surprising dustup.”

Based purely on paparazzi photos, it’s said, “Hawn, 71, left her Malibu house looking angry after an apparent disagreement with Russell, 65. The usually bubbly former ‘Laugh-In’ star was clearly in no laughing mood as she scowled while walking to her white Range Rover.” The actress, cruelly described as looking “disheveled,” supposedly “reached up to slam her car’s trunk in disgust after the incident.”

But what WAS the incident? The webloid has no idea, but still asserts that Hawn had “obvious anger.” As for Russell, it’s merely said that he “emerged from the house” after his longtime partner had left. And that’s all the scoop the outlet has.

There is no evidence of a “meltdown,” “screaming match,” “nasty argument, “dustup” or “disagreement.” The online publication hasn’t a clue what was or wasn’t said between the couple prior to their respective departures. RadarOnline simply crafted a negative story around a series of photos by making assumptions, despite not having any proof to back it all up. There’s a name for that kind of baseless manufacturing: Fake news.
