Celebrities Pose For Official Golden Globes 2016 Portraits: See Winners Photos And More!
Sunday’s 2016 Golden Globes featured a makeshift photo studio at the Beverly Hilton, where famed photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin took pictures of all the big stars. Together they go by the professional name “Inez and Vindoodh,” and their black-and-white portraits from the awards show are breathtaking. They, along with the official Golden Globes account, shared and made embeddable a number of the photos on Instagram. See below!
Winners and presenters alike were invited to step into the mini studio after leaving the Golden Globe Awards stage. Lady Gaga, who was a first-time winner after scoring her first-ever nod, is a close pal of the photographers, who gushed in her portrait caption, “We are beyond proud of our golden girl.” The pop star was actually one of the few to pose with her trophy.
Fellow winners Kate Winslet and Maura Tierney struck serious poses, while Taraji P. Henson’s dramatic shot seemed to be channeling her “Empire” character, Cookie. There was no doubt Sylvester Stallone was inspired by his alter-ego, Rocky, when he raised his fist for his photo. And Don Draper likely would’ve been proud of Jon Hamm’s classically handsome pic.
Then there was Andy Samberg, who looked like he was taking a school photo. Co-presenters Will Ferrell and Mark Walberg inspired laughs with their shoot, as did as Kevin Hart and Ken Jeong. And Jaimie Alexander, who cursed on stage during the ceremony, was even more revealing with some side boob in her picture. Check out the photos below!
