Some of the most special Golden Globes 2015 moments weren’t seen on television, but happened backstage. Winners and presenters posed for official Hollywood Foreign Press Association photos, where photographer Ellen von Unwerth caught interactions both poignant and funny. Check out the pictures below!

The HFPA, which shared the snapshots on Instagram, caught the stars right after they exited the stage. That allowed von Unwerth to capture the immediate glee from winning, as well as some silly moments with the presenters, as seen with Jennifer Aniston and Benedict Cumberbatch at right, after they handed out the first award of the night.

Jeremy Renner, who on stage made a hilaruous quip about Jennifer Lopez’s “globes,” struck a tough guy pose, while first-time nominee and winner Gina Rodiguez appeared positively giddy as she played with the golden streamers behind her. The decoration, of course, matched her trophy perfectly, and Kerry Washington appeared to have fun toying with them, too. We’re also not sure which was more sparkly: the streamers or Julianne Moore’s dress.

Joint winners Common and John Legend, who won Best Song for “Glory” from Selma, appeared to be mid-giggle when their portrait was snapped. Katie Holmes threw up some jazz hands. Amy Adams went for seductive. And Kevin Hart, naturally, brought some humor with co-presenter Salma Hayek. Meanwhile, Jared Leto appeared ready to rock and roll.

Adam Levine and Paul Rudd continued their newfound bromance. (Sorry, Blake Shelton). Jack Black seemed to channel his Kung Fu Panda character. Plus, Katherine Heigl kicked up a heel. First-time winners Patricia Arquette and Maggie Gyllenhaal seemed more than happy to show off their statues, though Kevin Spacey, also scoring his first win, looked like he might take a bite out of his. The Boyhood cast joyfully lifted their boy, Ellar Coltrane, into the air.

And George Clooney was… well, he was George Clooney. See the photos below, and tell us which is your favorite!
