Stars Fight Poverty at 3rd Global Citizen Festival — SEE PHOTOS HERE!
Stars from music, television and movies came together on Saturday for the third annual Global Citizen Festival in New York City’s Central Park.
As Gossip Cop reported, Jay Z headlined the event, and brought out wife Beyoncé for two songs.
Other performers included No Doubt (with surprise guest Sting), Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, The Roots and fun.
The celebrities in attendance — ranging from Katie Holmes and Olivia Wilde to Ryan Reynolds and Adrian Grenier — were on hand to draw attention to the campaign’s goal: ending poverty by the year 2030.
Many of the 60,000 concertgoers had earned admission through volunteer work.
“We out here for a good cause,” Jay Z reportedly told the crowd. “I want to thank everybody out here for this good movement.”
Hugh Jackson hosted the festivities.
